Liz Kirkland talks about being the new leader of the Chorus and introduces our concert on Saturday 6th June.
This Saturday – yes, it is this Saturday! Our concert is called, Together We Sing, and for good reason. This is our first concert under the baton of Liz Kirkland. She is an inspiring conductor and, as you will hear in this interview, is ‘one of us’, a singer in the Chorus before she became assistant conductor on an occasional basis, before she became our Musical Director. Liz has chosen a programme of great variety and interest, much of it based on poetry, and the words and the music sing together as much as we do. So follow the link and watch the video.
