Do you love singing? Then come and join our well-established Steyning choir. We are a friendly group, always keen to welcome new sopranos, altos, tenors and basses.
Singing is good for you!
Singing is good for your health and well-being, it is good for mental health, it gives a sense of shared achievement and satisfaction achieved through teamwork, grows confidence and skill, is fun, and is a great way to meet new people.
A warm welcome awaits
We are a lively choir and you will find a warm welcome coupled with a real desire to help you learn and achieve your very best. In return you will need to practice at home but helpful aids will be provided. You need never be frightened to try. Many of our singers begin as newcomers to singing. Many cannot read music but it doesn’t take long to feel part of the Chorus and there is always friendly support and help available.
It’s easy to join
There are no auditions and new members pay a reduced fee for their first term. So, if you yearn to sing a mixture of traditional and contemporary music, make new friends and enjoy all the health benefits that singing brings, just come along to one of our weekly Wednesday rehearsals from 7.00 to 9.00 pm every Wednesday evening (during term time) at either St Andrew’s Church in Steyning or The Towers campus of Steyning Grammar School, Upper Beeding. We’ll be delighted to see you.
Don’t take our word for it…

“Joining the choir when I moved to the area was such a good decision: I’ve made friends who share my love of music, and singing together has made me feel part of a special community.”
